Non-unique Fixed Points of Self Mappings in Bi-metric Spaces

Khan Ihsanullah, Muhammad Umair & Hassan Asad

Page No. 01-12

Abstract: In this paper, we prove a few non-unique fixed-point results of mapping on a set with bi-metrics using θ–contraction. We also give an example that justifies our results. In the literature, our result generalized many results.

Comparison of Glucose in Urine with Likening of Pigeons as Pets

Muhammad Hammad Ahmad, Syed Bilal Hussain, Muhammad Imran Qadir & Muhammad Ejaz

Page No. 13-15

Abstract: If someone is liking pigeons as pets, this may be due to their intelligent, effortless, and loving nature. The chief objectives of this study were to relate pigeon lovers as a pet with the level of glucose in their urine. Around 100 students of Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan Pakistan were participants of this study. Pee has glucose that is measured for measuring the glucose in urine. If glucose is not present in the urine it shows the kidney is working well. There is no major effect of glucose in urine with the love of a pigeon as a pet.

Advanced Bioinformatics Tools, coupled and integrated with Manual Techniques, demonstrated the definitive resolution of the plantar deformation, Hallux Valgus, with a long-time outcome of absence of recrudescence

A. Maksimovic & S. Turini

Page No. 16-37

Abstract: Background: Hallux Valgus is a type of plantar deformation that involves an angular deviation of the big toe, inwards, with respect to the long axis of the foot. This creates a state of chronic inflammation with a formation of protusion on articulation of big toe called bunion. As a consequence, people can lose capacity of deambulation and require the contribution of self-propelled supports. The treatment consists of surgery and use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. A familiarity in this condition has also recently been highlighted. Objectives: To demonstrate, how the combined treatment with manual techniques and specific anti-inflammatory, cream is able to resolve plantar deformation without the aid of surgery and without recurrence. Methods: The synergistic combination of three manual techniques, as: Bowen Technique, Reflexology and Su Jok, coupled with a cream containing Glycerol, Camphor and Povidone Iodine, applied on a cohort of 30 patient, divided in 5 groups, was the basis of the clinical application. In order to confirm the efficacy of the preparation, its composition was compared, by Molecular Docking, with normal antinflammatory drugs. Results: The results from molecular docking showed a greater affinity, of the components of the cream, than the classical drugs. Furthermore, the statistic of the reduction of the size of bunions, showed a complete success in the reduction of volume of bunion, without recrudescence. Conclusions: The combined treatment of manual techniques, with the application of a cream, has shown full effectiveness in resolving the Hallux Valgus plantar deformation, without the appearance of recrudescence.

Study on Undamped Force Vibrations of a Spring Using Different Methods

Shilpa kulkarni & Pralahad Mahagaonkar

Page No. 38-41

Abstract: In this paper we have been discussed the numerical technical solutions for some undamped force vibrations of a spring problem using Runge-Kutta fourth order classical method and Eulers Modified Method. These two methods are very well known numerical methods in physical and mathematical sciences.

Effects of Advertising Value and Attitude on the Purchase Intention Through Short-Form Video Advertising on Social Media: Empirical Research on Gen Z in Vietnam

Pham Van Tuan, Le Anh Chan, Dinh Tran Ngoc Huy, Nguyen Quang Anh, Nguyen Quynh Trang, Pham Chau Giang & Nguyen Phuong Uyen

Page No. 42-59

Abstract: The objective of the study is to analyze the influence of short-form video advertisements on social media on the purchase intention of Gen Z in Vietnam. The research group collected data through questionnaires from 1257 people of Gen Z and familiar with social media platforms. After collecting data, the research team used SmartPLS software for analysis. The research results show that the value of advertising and users' attitudes significantly influence Gen Z's purchase intention. In addition, the value of advertising is directly and positively influenced by informativeness, incentives, and credibility. Meanwhile, customer attitudes are directly and positively influenced by social interaction and entertainment, negatively by irritation.

Fiscal Decentralization and the Efficiency of Public Service Delivery - A Case Study of Homabay County

Dr. Jared Okello Otieno

Page No. 60-69

Abstract: This study aims to examine how fiscal decentralization affects the effectiveness of public service delivery in Homabay County. It uses a stochastic frontier method to estimate time-varying efficiency coefficients and investigates the effects of fiscal decentralization on those efficiency coefficients. The results show that, in some cases, fiscal decentralization can increase the effectiveness of public service delivery. Initially, the decentralization process needs appropriate political and institutional conditions or goodwill. Second, it would seem that good outcomes call for a high enough degree of expenditure decentralization. Third, there must be sufficient decentralization of both revenue and expenditure. Lastly, fiscal decentralization could make public service delivery less effective if these conditions are not met. The paper recommends the need for developing countries to adopt fiscal decentralization because it helps subnational governments raise revenues through enhancing tax administration and collection by the government as well as taxpayer compliance. It also supports legislation and policy changes that give subnational governments more fiscal authority.

Mixed Methods in Accounting Research: The Rationale and Research Designs

Dr. Jared Okello Otieno, Collins Ochieng Obura & Erick Onyango Owino

Page No. 70-76

Abstract: Mixed methods research is a wide field of study, and this paper laid the stage for integrating the enormous array of literature on mixed methods research. It examined what mixed methods research is, and the related strengths it has for accounting research. The article is written in the style of a literature review. It identifies and investigates essential definitions, possibilities, and risks in mixed methods studies by conducting extensive review on mixed methods research in a variety of social science fields. This allows the researcher to examine differences in how mixed methods research is conceptualized across different studies, and also assess the perceived benefits and limitations of specific mixed methods design choices. To this end, the researcher identifies a wide range of possibilities and challenges in conducting of mixed-methods research and demonstrates them with references to both published works as well as additional contributions to this special issue. Except for the use of mixed-method research in finance, there is a sparse discussion of the application and potential of mixed methods research in the existent accounting literature.

Current Status of Nationally Important Wetlands in Sivas Province, Turkey

Seher Dirican

Page No. 77-85

Abstract: This study is about the current status of nationally important wetlands in Sivas province. As a result of the study, it was determined that there are two nationally important wetlands in Sivas province. These are Tödürge Lake and Ulaş Lake are nationally important wetlands. Tödürge Lake and Ulaş Lake wetlands in Sivas are usually covered with a thick snow cover in winter. An intense bird activity begins in the spring. Many bird species prefer Tödürge Lake and Ulaş Lake wetlands to perform their breeding, resting, feeding and daily displacement activities. The wetland area of national importance in Sivas is 12334 hectares. Wetlands of national importance constitute 0.45 percent of Sivas province's surface area. Considering that the nationally important wetlands in Turkey are 1.12% of the total surface area, it has been determined that the size of the nationally important wetlands throughout the province of Sivas is insufficient. Wetlands are habitats at the lowest point of the basin in which they are located. Therefore, it is affected by all activities in the basin. In order to minimize these effects, rational and efficient use of Tödürge Lake and Ulaş Lake nationally important wetlands in Sivas province should be ensured.
