This research study gives an insight into the existing scenario with a view of suggesting possible implications for future improvement. The goals of this article is: To compare and contrast the teaching of English as a language and as a subject by critically analyzing the classroom discourse of one teacher from the private and the others from public sector in Saudi Arabia.
